ROLLED OATS AND ALMOND COOKIES

Some days, there's this burst of energy that drives me to do more than what I usually would accomplish within a day. After learning how to crochet, I decided to bake some rolled oats and almond cookies and here's the recipe: 


Rolled oats and almond cookies

Ingredients:
1 cup softened butter
½  cup brown sugar (**I have used less sugar)
½  cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 cup plain flour (sifted)
½  cup almond meal
1 teaspoon baking soda
¼ tsp sea salt
2 cups rolled oats
½ cup chopped almonds



Method:


Pre-heat the oven at 160°C. (Convection)


Cream butter with sugar.


Add eggs and vanilla.


Add dry ingredients.


Mix well.


Spoon batter onto a baking sheet.


Bake at 160°C for about 10 to 15 minutes.
